WebGirls Can Tell is the first Spoon release that entirely commits to Britt Daniel's unique musical vision and, although it may lack the iconic moments of Kill the Moonlight, it gets my vote as the best place to start one's Spoon's collection. It was an enormous breath of fresh air back in the day, and it has aged remarkably well.
