WebJan 20, 2010 · Good choice with the 1911. First gun and only gun I currently own is a Rock Island Armory 1911. It's made in the Phillipines, but it's still a quality 1911 to me. Never had a single problem with it at all yet. I don't think all Taurus pistols are junk. I personally don't like the Beretta/Taurus 92 pistols.
WebNov 17, 2016 · The only they bring is PT92. I believe it is due to 1911's are allways a few 100 Dollars more expensive than the other pistols. If the grip fits and the Trigger is good and it's heavy: wonderfull.
