WebAug 8, 2024 · After rewatching the shows before the new season started, BB Season 1 is definitely an outlier, feels like a different, lesser, show. Some of the dialogue was very on-the-nose compared to later seasons which I think treat the audience quite intelligently, and all of the non-Walt characters were cardboard cutouts during that first season. Especially if you just finished BB, stepping into the early seasons of BCS is going to be a bit of a shock, given its pacing and content (it's still great, just different). But it absolutely pays off. I liked El Camino, adds a few interesting notes on the end of the BB story. Worth watching too.
